Who publishes this site

Brighton Incentive Network Inc., 1201 North Market Street, Suite 1401, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States, is the publisher of Heat-pump-rebates.com. It is neither a utility, nor a government agency, nor a program sponsor, and programs do not pay to be listed.

Sources for the figures

The program, utility or agency that runs a rebate publishes an official page, and every amount, status and rule comes from it. Each program row links to that page. Without notice, programs adjust their amounts and shut down for the year, so the official page is always the last word. Send your application there, or let the installer handle it when the program pays at the point of sale.

The way the ZIP finder works

The finder checks which electric utilities cover a ZIP code, drawing on the NREL and OpenEI list of utilities by ZIP code. It then lists open programs for both the utility and the state. Your entries are not sent anywhere before you request quotes.

Quotes from installers and what we earn

  • After you send the quote form, up to three installers of heat pumps or one installer-matching company serving your ZIP code receives your request.
  • They may reach out to you regarding the project.
  • When those companies receive a request, they may pay the site.
  • You never have to send a request to get a rebate.

Names of programs

Names of programs and utilities, including Mass Save, Efficiency Maine and NYSERDA, stay the property of their owners. This site uses a name only to show the source of a figure. The sponsors behind Mass Save own it as a registered mark.

Name the program or page and what changed. A link to the official page that shows the new figure helps the most.
